LAGOM
“LAGOM” is a new Swedish jazz group who performs original jazz compositions. The music is dynamic and touching but at the same time playful, containing elements of pop, jazz and folk music. The band members consist of Swedish music students who met at the Academy of Music in Gothenburg. Vocalists Dina Grundberg and Maja Sundell paint with their words and let their song merge into one single voice. Pianist Gustav Elg Tyskling and drummer Manfred Josefsson challenge each other and explore the meaning of sound. In this particular performance, the eminent bass player Thomas Markusson - a head teacher at the Academy of Music in Gothenburg - joins the quartet and supports them throughout their journey towards creating their own music.
